FUERTEVENTURA ASTRO PHOTOGRAPHY 11TH TO 17TH JUNE 2026

£2,500.00

Shooting the night sky in Fuerteventura with Simon Waldram Photography is an unforgettable experience, combining expert guidance with the island’s exceptional conditions for astrophotography. Fuerteventura, designated as a Starlight Reserve, offers some of the darkest, clearest skies in Europe, making it a paradise for night photography.

With Simon’s expertise, you’ll have the chance to photograph the Milky Way, star trails, and celestial events in breathtaking detail. Together, we’ll explore some of the island’s most iconic locations, such as Tindaya Mountain, Betancuria, and the volcanic plains, where dramatic landscapes provide stunning foregrounds for your images. Simon will guide you on framing and composition techniques to create unique, high-impact photographs.

The island’s dry, desert-like climate ensures consistently clear skies, and its location allows visibility of both northern and southern hemispheres, giving you access to a wide variety of constellations and celestial phenomena. You’ll also have the opportunity to capture beautiful blue hour scenes, working with Simon to refine your techniques for low-light and night photography.

This workshop isn’t just about shooting; it’s about enhancing your skills. Simon will provide hands-on guidance in planning your shots, understanding light and weather conditions, and creating perfectly balanced compositions. Whether you’re looking to master Milky Way photography, create mesmerizing star trails, or shoot long-exposure nightscapes, Simon will help you get the most out of every opportunity.
