Day 1: Arrival and Sunset Shoot at Sligachan
- Arrival at Accommodation: Participants settle in and prepare for the workshop.
- Sunset Shoot: Capture the iconic Sligachan Bridge and River with the dramatic Cuillin Mountains in the background.
Day 2: The Quiraing and Uig Bay
- Morning Session: The Quiraing, focusing on expansive landscapes, moody skies, and layered compositions.
- Afternoon Session: Explore the northern landscapes of the Trotternish Peninsula, capturing rugged terrain and seascapes.
- Evening Shoot: Blue hour compositions at Uig Bay, working on reflections and serene water details.
Day 3: Neist Point Lighthouse and Dunvegan Waterfalls
- Morning Session: Photograph Neist Point Lighthouse, capturing dramatic seascapes and cliff formations.
- Afternoon Session: Discover hidden waterfalls near Dunvegan, perfect for long-exposure techniques.
- Evening Shoot: Sunset over Dunvegan Castle and the surrounding rugged coastline.
Day 4: Glen Brittle Forest, Fairy Pools, and Elgol
- Morning Session: Explore Glen Brittle Forest for intimate landscapes, focusing on autumnal textures and woodland details.
- Afternoon Session: Visit the Fairy Pools for long-exposure photography of cascading waterfalls with the Cuillin Mountains as a backdrop.
- Evening Shoot: Sunset at Elgol, capturing dramatic seascapes, waves crashing against the rocky shore, and Cuillin mountain views in golden light.
Day 5: Trotternish Peninsula and Kilt Rock
- Morning Session: Old Man of Storr, capturing iconic rock formations and dramatic light contrasts.
- Afternoon Session: Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, highlighting the interplay of cliffs, waterfalls, and the sea.
- Evening Shoot: Golden hour photography along the Trotternish coastline.
Day 6: Loch Cill Chriosd and Broadford Bay
- Morning Session: Visit Loch Cill Chriosd, experimenting with minimalist compositions, reeds, and serene mountain reflections.
- Afternoon Session: Explore the Broadford area for diverse coastal shots and moody skies.
- Evening Shoot: Final sunset session at Broadford Bay, focusing on silhouettes and soft light transitions.
Day 7: Eilean Donan Castle and Departure
- Morning Session: Eilean Donan Castle, working on architectural details, reflections, and surrounding landscapes.
- Afternoon: Depart for home, concluding the workshop.
Please note that the itinerary is designed to provide diverse photographic opportunities, including iconic landmarks, tranquil landscapes, and hidden gems within Glencoe. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions to ensure the best photographic opportunities. Participants will receive guidance on both technical and artistic aspects of photography, with opportunities for one-on-one instruction and feedback throughout the workshop. The workshop aims to cater to photographers of all skill levels, fostering a creative and collaborative learning environment.
