With excitement in the air, it’s time to head out and explore the stunning landscapes of the Lake District. Your first stop is Derwent Water, where you’ll have the chance to capture the tranquil reflections and vibrant autumn colours dancing on the water’s surface. This peaceful lake offers endless opportunities to experiment with different angles and lighting as you ease into the day’s photography.
As the morning transitions to afternoon, you’ll visit the iconic Ashness Bridge, a perfect spot for those classic Lake District shots. From here, it’s just a short hike to Surprise View, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping panoramic vistas of the valley and the lakes below. Later in the day, you’ll journey to Castlerigg Stone Circle for a sunset shoot. Here, you’ll capture the ancient stones silhouetted against a vibrant autumn sky. If the weather cooperates, the clear night skies might even offer a chance to shoot some stunning star photography. The perfect way to end the day, surrounded by history and natural beauty.
